Products available:

Insulator/Spacer for carburetor.  This is a ½ inch thick spacer machined from a plate of micarta or Corian material.  It serves as an insulator/spacer underneath the AFB type carb to aid in the prevention of manifold heat induced vapor lock in the carb.  It is machined to the same configuration as the manifolds I sell.  If you’re installing the Edelbrock carb then this spacer is a must to prevent a lever from hitting the manifold on the drivers’ side. $30.00 each

Wheel spacers.   For the trucks only.  They are 5 on 5-inch bolt pattern and allow modern custom wheels to be bolted onto the Stude truck hub/drum combination.  They are 1/8 inch thick and therefore do not require changing the lug bolts.           $9.00 each

Brass brake shoe plugs.  These are the round brass adjuster discs found in the brake shoes in the early 40’s cars.  There’s one in each brake shoe.  (8 per vehicle needed)    $10.00 each.

Crank triggered direct fire ignition for the Stude V8.  Available at this time for custom installation in my shop only.

For the truckers, I make a door handle droop eliminator kit to keep your door handles up in the horizontal position.   $39.95

ALUMINUM RADIATORS   alumRad.JPG (368182 bytes)

We have teamed up with a Phoenix manufacturer and now sell aluminum radiators for certain models of Studebaker.  We have radiators for the early 60's larks, early 60's Hawks and early 60's pickups as well as the early 50's coupes. All radiators are equipped with cooler loops for tranmission cooling.  In addition to looking really good they add water capacity for a HUGE reduction in operating temperatures.    I've driven mine in Phoenix in 110 degree temps WITH THE "AC" ON and no overheating at all. Prices are typically in the $700 range.

A/C MOUNT BRACKET  acMount.JPG (480643 bytes)

This new bracket mounts on the passenger side of the engine down low for hood clearance.  Works on most all coupes and Hawk models.  This mounts the popular Sanden 508 compressor  onto the Stude V8 engine and allows conversion to the modern R-134 refrigerant.    Note: this requires the alternator to be mounted elsewhere than on the passenger side.  Price $135.

CENTER STEERING IDLER MODIFIED.

This new product converts the center idler from bushings to needle roller bearings.  Eases steering and lasts longer if properly greased.  Priced at $85.

Other Products in development and/or in longer term planning:

·        True roller rockers.

·        Port Fuel Injection.

·     Power Rack and Pinion steering for solid axle trucks

DOOR HANDLE “DROOP” ELIMINATOR KIT

For the truckers, I make a door handle droop eliminator kit to keep your door handles up in the horizontal position.

Manifold Project  Convert 2 barrel to 4 barrel

Carter AFB/Edelbrock clone intake manifold. This project was initiated to develop an efficient means of producing the 4 barrel intake manifold using an original 2 barrel manifold as starting material.  Since so many of the 2 bbl manifolds were produced they are fairly cheap to purchase and are readily available.

Fuel System Assembly

Provides a safety feature that shuts off the electric fuel pump if the engine should lose oil pressure for any reason. Provides that cool fuel from the tank is being delivered continuously from the tank to within 10 inches of the carburetor inlet. Also provides a ready path for any vapors that might form in the fuel delivery line to be returned to the tank instead of being forced into the carburetor fuel inlet.  Contains a check valve to prevent the fuel from returning to tank level each time the engine is shut off.
